Continents: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, and Antarctica.
  • A continent is a geographic land mass made up of several countries with the exception of Australia and Antarctica.
  • They are defined by their boundaries and not by their people.
  • A continent is much less likely to have a collective group of citizens with cultural and nationalistic ties to each other.
